i to i has signed a sponsorship agreement with Ironman athlete Mark J. Day, to support a truly inspiring man with an incredible history and a remarkable mission.
In 2000 Mark weighed 120kg. A TV program about Ironman discipline grabbed him so much that he decided to change his life! Since then his achievements have been very impressive and, at 85 kg, he shows again and again that motivation and happiness can be used to achieve any goal!
Having Mark advertise i to i around Eurupe is part of i to i’s strategy to increase i to i’s foreign business.
Since Mark's decision in 2000, he has been busy:
- 2010: Jurassic Coast Challenge (3 cross-country marathons in 3 days) COMPLETED
- 2008: Vienna Marathon – 3 hours and 49 minutes
- 2008: Ironman Switzerland 2008 - 13 hours and 17 minutes
- 2008: Jurassic Coast Challenge (3 cross-country marathons in 3 days) – 17 hours and 10 minutes
- 2007: Ironman Austria – 12 hours and 31 minutes
- 2007: Jurassic Coast Challenge (3 cross-country marathons in 3 days) – 14 hours and 9 minutes
- 2006: Ironman UK - 13 hours and 16 minutes
- 2006: Ironman Austria - 12 hours and 12 minutes
- 2006: Weymouth Middle Distance Triathlon – 4 hours and 49 minutes
- 2006: Jurassic Coast Challenge – Not timed

In July 2010, Mark will complete two Ironman events and a 70.3 (half Ironman) event dressed in i to i’s logo. It is a goal for Mark to complete races in less than 12 hours. i to i wishes him the best of luck.
Fact: An Ironman triathlon consists of 2.4-mile (3.86 km) swimming, 112-mile (180.25 km) cycling, and a marathon (26 miles 385 yards, 42.195 km) run, all completed in less than 17 hours.
